Education:
NY State Regents High School Graduate; Certification from NY Institute of Photography; Various management courses.

Awards & Recognitions: Judge for Blount County Hikers' photo contest; voted third best photographer in Blount County by Readers' Choice in 2010; chosen as part of a National Juried Exhibit which included submissions from artists of various mediums from 6 states; Commissioned by Knoxville Area Interior Designer to provide 3 larger pieces for a model condominium and to photograph the condo for the owner's website; engaged by local Fiber Artist to shoot her studio for entry in Cloth, Paper, Scissors magazine, STUDIOS Fall edition, in which we earned a 5-page spread; Second place in competition among Southern Appalachian Nature Photographers; numerous certificates and multiple ribbons from TVA Fair competition.

A 1946 American-born photographer, raised in hte Adirondack Mountains, making my permanent, home in picturesque Maryville, East Tennessee. Through the lenses of both my eye and that of the camera, beauty is apparent in all things by which we are surrounded, from the obvious to the obscure.
