Jon Ives is a happily-married father of one and photographer both living and working in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. Ives is a self-taught photographer who received is first camera set up in trade for hot dogs from a loyal customer of his former gourmet hot dog shop.  With an eye for architechure and the play of light on an unexpected object, Ives has enjoyed success for both his abstract and nature-based photography.  In addition to having a passion fo photography, Ives works as a commercial potter and is also one-half of the Appalachian singing duo known as the Pea Pickin’ Hearts with wife, R.L. Gibson.
